PUBLIC NOTICE - Call Centres
 

The TRCSL is pleased to detail below basic guidelines that should be complied with by applicants in the setting up of CALL CENTRES in Sri Lanka.

  1. Telecommunication infrastructure facilities (Local and International Leased Circuits) should be obtained from existing licensed operators. (Click here for the list)
     

  2. Network should not be linked to local Public Switched Telephone Network (PSTN).
     

  3. Network should not be used to connect international public phone calls.(in Sri Lanka)
     

  4. The network should be used only for CALL CENTRE functions. Any ambiguity that arises regarding such permissible functions should be referred to the Director General of TRCSL for a ruling.
     

  5. The service provider should agree to allow authorised officers of TRCSL to inspect the installation and commissioning of the system, and throughout the operation.
