NOTICE

As part of the 2004 Budget, the government will impose a levy of 2.5% in respect of all charges payable by the mobile phone subscribers to their respective cellular network operator. Mobitel(Pvt) Ltd, MTN Network (Pvt) Ltd., Celltel Lanka (Pvt) Ltd., and Lanka Cellular Services Ltd., would like to inform their subscribers that in accordance with the budget this "cellular mobile telephone subscriber levy" of 2.5% will be charged with effect from 1st January 2004.
