Hon. Deputy Minister of Digital Economy Visits TRCSL

The Telecommunications Regulatory Commission of Sri Lanka (TRCSL) was honored to welcome Hon. Eng. Eranga Weeraratne, Deputy Minister of Digital Economy, on his official visit to the Commission.

Hon. Deputy Minister engaged in discussions with Director General and the  senior management of TRCSL,  on matters concerning Sri Lanka’s digital infrastructure, regulatory initiatives , and the strategic role of telecommunications in accelerating the nation's digital transformation.

A valuable opportunity was openedup  to share insights and strengthen collaborative efforts between the Ministry of Digital Economy and TRCSL. The dialogue reinforced our shared commitment to fostering innovation, expanding digital access, and building a secure and inclusive digital ecosystem for all Sri Lankans.

TRCSL extends its sincere gratitude to Hon. Deputy Minister  for his visit and continued support. We look forward to working closely with the Ministry to advance national goals in digital development and connectivity.
