Nandasiri Ponnamperuma is a fellow member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Sri Lanka, holds a Master’s Degree in Finance from the University of Southern Queensland in Australia, and is a founder member of the Certified Management Accountants of Sri Lanka.

He is an ex-banker with over 30 years of experience in finance. He is a practicing member, serves as Managing Partner at Ponnamperuma & Co. (Chartered Accountants), and is the Board President of SOS Children’s Villages Sri Lanka.

He is a pioneering tax and management consultant and senior auditor in forensic audit. He is a former president of the Members’ Benevolent Society of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Sri Lanka. He was awarded Volunteer of the Year 2020 by the USQ Alumni Chapter.
